 Fast and Easy Paragon Drive Backup Personal 9 seems to work great but I haven't tried to restore any files using it yet. I did have a momentary bit of problems trying to install it because I was using the trial version at first. Once I purchased the full version I was given the option to download a 32 bit version or the 64 bit version. I didn't know which one I was supposed to download that would work on my computer. Then during the first part of the installation I got a pop up screen that asked if I wanted to "restore", "Repair", or "remove" ...
Ease of use excellnt This software is very easy to use, if your a numty like me. Luckily I havn't had to use a back up to restore from a crash, so I can't say how well that section would work. But it was easy to back everything up and make a boot disk if it all went up in smoke.So, so far, very good.
 Paragon Drive Backup Personal 8 worked for me I thank this is a very good backup program . I wanted to try it before I bought it to see if it would work on a new large 320gb Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 SATA drive (updating from a 160gb ide hard drive). Downloaded the try before you buy program last night and installed the Paragon Drive Backup Personal 8 Trial version program and my Serial ATA card and new SATA hard drive. Opinion First downloaded version did not work.
I tried other evaluation versions and no one really worked. I can try to download an updated version and re-try . If you have on line assistance,I may run recovery while on line if You have safe channels . Thanks for the reminder. I wanted to copy old removable 2GB disks in an external Iomega SCSI 2GB Jaz drive and I am having some difficulty with corrupted data. I do not think your software can help me because it seems to copy only the computer\'s main hard drive.Kind regards,Les Shaw

 Data Extraction If a demo of a product is offered, you could at least offer some full use of the utility. I was able to view files on my client's drive but was unable to verify the ability to extract files from his drive to a working drive. If this product was successful, I may have considered the purchase, however, my client has lost all his information now due to a re-format.
Excellent! Wasn't aware of your program before i had to search for a solution to my HDD needing reformating after an error. I needed a solution to recover my important data and your program did the job brilliantly, even after a reformat...
Test recovery This is the only program that showed me the exact data that was lost (not file001, file002, ... etc...)
The only problem is that demo version doesn't allow recovery of any files (for testing purposes - others have limitation for demo recovery of 500kb of total filesize recovered)

 Burner will not copy my CD's. All it copy's is the cda data,44k per song. I have to burn them to the HD and then burn the CD's from music files.
Not to great. EXACTLY like the "Quick CD/DVD Burner" program. I tried both and neither copied a copy protected CD as advertised, and both programs crashed in Windows 98SE when trying to access the "on line help"!!

Ease of use It works pretty good, but I had a hard time finding some of my music to burn to disc.All of my music shows up im Media Player library. For some reason a lot of my songs do not show up in the CD burner program. Most of the last songs added to Media Player were missing.Thank you.
